The house lights fall and an array of color from stage lights dances over the crowd. Eyes, just full of tears from Family Hour, dry and become dilated with excitement. Bodies, once linked in a somber sway across the Bryce Jordan Center, break down into electricity as Go Go Gadget takes the stage at THON for the 6th consecutive year.
With temperatures creeping down into the single digits and lines that snake around the Bryce Jordan Center leaving spectators waiting in the cold for hours, the health of those still trying to get into THON has shone its first signs of deterioration.
"Kicking this charity into high gear with some rock n' rock," 7 Hump Wump paid homage to the alternative scene at THON 2013 with crunchy guitar riffs, raspy vocals and drums that rattled the rafters on par with the hoards of eccentric THONers.
