A few weeks ago, Cory Trimm, creator of the new website PennStateStudents.com, was hit with an idea. Interestingly enough, the inspiration came from Sweden, the first country that allows its citizens to control its official Twitter account. Cory wanted to take this a step further for Penn State, though. He wondered what would happen if there was a Penn State Twitter account that was not home to only one curator per week, but to tens of thousands of voices with an infinite variety of things to share.

Calling all Penn State ladies: the Penn State Marketing Association (PSMA) powderpuff football tournament has almost arrived! The event, which will be raising money to benefit the Special Olympics of Pennsylvania in honor of Joe Paterno, will be taking place at 1p.m. in the multisport complex behind the BJC.
When the doors to this mythical place finally opened, everyone was beyond ready to get in and finally enjoy themselves. Unfortunately, Onward State was not granted media access that had been previously discussed, and it is for this reason that we can't really tell you how it was.
