Topless in class - m4w - 23 (Classroom)
I'm sure you'll remember what I'm talking about because for the life of my I can't remember what class this happened in. I was sitting the the back like usual, probably on my laptop or something. You were up front and not wearing a shirt, boobs out and everything. I'm sorry I don't know your name, but your hair was in braided and pulled back and it looked like your skin had ritualistic ash or ocher painted all over it. So you looked like you were going through a tribal rite or something, I can't remember the specific tribe and color motif exactly. Anyway, I'm sure you remember doing that and I just wanted you to know how gorgeous I though you were and maybe we could go get some coffee sometime.
You'd think that you would remember which class had topless tribal women in it.
With spring break and election season approaching quickly, the businesses conducted at last night's University Park Undergraduate Assembly meeting will be the basis for at least the next month of the assembly's governance.
The most major result of last night's meeting was the announcement of the new name for UPUA's spring concert. Wallypalooza no more, it will now be known as LAST CALL.
The assembly also debated options for repurposing the space currently occupied by the Corner Pocket and funding for the Spring Academic Council.
In what seems like a very long time ago, we posted this regarding a proposed addendum to the Corner Pocket. I decided to follow this up with Mark Cannon (who very graciously took time out of this very busy week to reply to my questions) to clear up the questions regarding the future of the Corner Pocket.
According to Mark, the new proposed plan (titled Smart Gaming Commons) could very possibly replace the Corner Pocket. The plan does not have any UPUA support thus far, although they are looking into it. The original idea was conceived by the HUB Advisory Board (another organization of which Mark is a member), and they were looking into new ideas for utilizing the space taken up by the Corner Pocket.
The project could cost to up to $50,000, which would come from the facility fee, NOT the student activities fee. The facility fee will come from another board, the Facilities Fee Board (they could at least try to get creative with names!), which would need to approve of this spending. As of now, they have not made a decision. IF this space were to be created, then the HUB would plan to charge students $1-$3 per hour to use it (this cost will also not be added to the student activities fee). According to Mark, all efforts are being made to keep major renovations to a bare minimum in order to keep costs down.
Curious as to what could be in the Smart Gaming Room? Read more after the jump to find out.
Update: Penn State Live is reporting that Monday's fire has been ruled an accident, caused by faults in the electrical system. The fire marshal's full report will be available sometime in April.
Between 11.30 and midnight on Monday, a fire erupted in Dobbins Dining Hall at Penn State Behrend. The building was uninhabited at the time, so there is no reason to believe that there are any injuries. According to the Penn State Behrend Director of Marketing Communications Bill Gonda, students from both Lawrence and Porcupine (cool name!) Halls were evacuated and moved to different locations. Approximately 275 students were evacuated from these halls.
The students were evacuated because of the danger from the smoke, and the students from Lawrence were instructed to move to Niagara Hall. Students were let back into Lawrence and Porcupine by around 1:20 am. The fire was officially extinguished at 1:30 am.
Learn more about the fire after the jump.
John Stewart once said something to the effect of : Penn State is all cows and hot girls. Well, I am very pleased to announce that Mr. Stewart was 50% correct. Penn State has the best looking girls in Central Pennsylvania and here is the proof.
Lauryn DeBaie won the title of Miss Central Pa in February, utilizing her skill in twirling (she is co-captain of the Penn State Majorettes) and a routine titled "Fit & Fun: Fitness for Today's Youth". Along with beating out 19 other finalists she also won $1,100 in scholarship money!
The website for Miss Central PA describes the pageant as:
"Your Stepping Stone to Miss America and Miss America's Outstanding Teen"
However, just one small step remains between Lauryn and competing in Miss America. Lauryn has earned herself a position in the Miss Pennsylvania Beauty Pageant where she competes for the title of Miss Pennsylvania and $8000 in scholarship money. So Lauryn, from us here at Onward State we wish you the best of luck. Go out and prove to the rest of America that Penn State not only has the prettiest girls in the state, but also in the nation!

You = Drama ;-) - m4w - 22 (State College)
Its been a while since I last saw you. The only thing that I can remember was that kiss in the dance club. You were sitting in a couch and you saw me come up from behind you. You looked up and I bent over and gave you a kiss. The beat was pretty loud and I didn't hear what you said but maybe that was because I could be getting it confused with the sound coming from inside my chest. You have pretty blue eyes and a smile that is contagious.
When in Rome I threw a coin in the Trevi fountain in hopes that I could someday run into you again. I'll be in State College starting Spring Break and I hope to see you. I can't promise it will be as fun as the adventure we took with the ATVs in the Greek isles looking for the Temple of Poseidon, but I think a tour of the ice cream factory will do just fine.
Last time I saw a contagious smile, I got pneumonia... so, you might want to get that looked at.
