But apparently he's not the only person with that on their mind. A phenomenon of word of mouth and Facebook are the root of the newest State College drinking holiday.
Whoever said house shows are dead is wrong when it comes to this week's performance of Koji, a songwriter/activist who is coming to play an underground show with some local artists. This will be happening tomorrow at 221 E Park Ave at 8 p.m.
At Sunday night's Boys Like Girls concert, SPA announced that pop-punk band We the Kings and rapper J. Cole will be visiting the HUB at University Park on October 22 as part of the Pringles Xtreme Campus Tour. The late-night concert is set to begin at 10 p.m.The tour will also make a stop at Penn State Beherend on October 17, according to the tour schedule.
At first I thought Boys Like Girls seemed to be a hardcore band gone askew but then I began to realize they weren't a hardcore band, but a legitimate rock band. They weren't the bubblegum-pop band that everyone had pinned them as, but an overlooked, talented group of rock musicians.

You've bought every 'State' and 'Happy Valley' item you could manage to fit in your closet from the The Family Clothesline, and there's no good music out at Music Underground (surprising, but it happens).
