Update: The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is asking distributors to stop selling Four Loko. The Philly.com article says that, "The Liquor Control Board isn't banning the drink, but instead asking distributors to remove it from their shelves until the Food and Drug Administration finishes a safety review."
There's been a lull in the music scene since all the summer music hits got overplayed or died out. It's officially autumn now, and the fall rush for soon-to-be released albums has begun. As November rolls in, the albums that will rock your winter will be dropping and new music will grace all of our ears.
This morning the Bryce Jordan Center announced that legendary rock star Jon Bon Jovi and his band will perform on Feb. 9. Ticket information will be available in November, but it's not too soon to start saving up for tickets.
Friday night, the Eagles rocked and rolled the Bryce Jordan Center as part of their "Long Road Out of Eden" tour. Since these older bands have early bedtimes, the concert started promptly at 8 p.m. with no opening bands.
Today, Penn State alum Jason Olcese, better known as State College's Jason O, will perform as part of the National Finals of the BOSS Loop Station World Championship. The championship will take place in Hollywood with five other contestants, with the best going on to compete with the world's best loopers.
Last night, the Eisenhower Auditorium was packed with screaming girls yelling all sorts of variations of "Take your shirt off." But this time, those screams weren't for Graham Spanier, as the auditorium hosted the Goo Goo Dolls with opening act the Spill Canvas.
