Penn State Wins Homecoming Game, 23-18

In a crazy game that featured three turnovers, several huge special teams plays and wind gusts reaching 52 miles per hour, Penn State was able to pull out a 23-18 win over Purdue. With the win, the Nittany Lions improve to 6-1 on the season and 3-0 in the Big Ten.

According to AccuWeather, it will be about 54 degrees and partly cloudy for the Penn State football game against Purdue. It is the Penn State Homecoming Game, so there should be a large crowd. Penn State-Purdue Preview

Penn State (5-1; 2-0 Big Ten) heads into the Homecoming Game against Purdue (3-2; 1-0 Big Ten) on a three-game winning streak. The Nittany Lions are heavily favored to beat the Boilermakers, but it might not be so easy after Derek Moye injured his foot. The teams will take to the Beaver Stadium field on Saturday for a noon match-up.

Penn State Grinds Past Iowa, 13-3

Penn State put together another impressive performance, and scored just enough to beat Iowa, 13-3. The Nittany Lions ran for 234 yards in the victory and held Iowa to just 253 yards of offense. Penn State was looking for its first victory over Iowa since 2007, a 27-7 win. Iowa had beaten Penn State in eight of the last nine meetings, winning 24-3 in Iowa City a year ago.

According to AccuWeather, the temperature will reach 75 degrees in Happy Valley, and it will be sunny and clear all day. Penn State-Iowa Preview

Penn State (4-1) is coming off a terrible performance at Indiana last week. Iowa (3-1) comes into Happy Valley boasting a high-powered offence that easily dispatched Louisiana-Monroe, 45-17, two weeks ago. It will be a battle of the Penn State defense against the Iowa offense on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
