The culmination of a festive week of Homecoming events came to fruition at Rec Hall Friday night. The annual Homecoming pep rally is always a favorite among Penn State students and alumni. Check out our recap of the pep rally and find out your 2011 Homecoming King and Queen after the jump.

It is tradition that during every year's Homecoming Parade, the THON Overall Committee reveals the year's theme (just as the Homecoming theme is revealed every year during THON Weekend). That day has finally come, and so without further ado, I present the THON 2012 theme:
America’s top Pink Floyd cover band, The Machine, will be playing at the State Theatre tonight at 8 p.m. The Machine, which has been touring since 1988, has been complimented by magazines like Spin, which gave the ultimate compliment a cover band can receive--saying The Machine “sounds exactly like Pink Floyd.” The performance will consist of incredible lights and effects as well as the great music of Pink Floyd. Tickets are still on sale at the State Theatre ranging from $29-$39.
Like the roller coaster concoction, Four Loko, a mixture of spastic lo-fi and coffeehouse acoustic filled the dungeon-esque walls of Chronic Town last night. Buzz-band, Emperor X, and ambient singer-songwriter, Annalisa Barron, took to the stage for a show tri-sponsored by the Lion 90.7 FM, Roustabout! and Students Organizing the Multiple Arts.
Beaver Stadium on a football weekend: the sun is shining (hopefully), the Blue Band is playing (#7to1), and you're being herded like sheep into rows by a shepherd in a red vest, better known as the Beaver Stadium ushers.
