Every year the fraternities help make the Highlands district a little brighter, literally. Many of the houses in the neighborhood put up elaborate holiday light displays. The IFC and Panhellenic Councils put on the Holiday Lights tour. Onward State Staff Photographer Eric Weiss took the tour and we've put together a slideshow for your enjoyment. Let us know which house you think had the best display!

The day is finally here. TEDxPSU begins today, 10/10/10, at 10:10 a.m. at Schwab Auditorium. We'll be live blogging the whole event, so check back here for all the updates!
4:49... The final talk, Aliens vs. Robots, is by Tonee Ndungu, an African entrepreneur.

Yesterday was Sportsmanship Day in the HUB. The Blue and White Society, the WE ARE Campaign, Penn State Homecoming, and the PRIDE. Sportsmanship Initiative teamed up to promote good sportsmanship among students at all Penn State athletic events.
Athletes from various athletic teams were there to encourage students to sign the Sportsmanship Pledge, developed by PRIDE. The day also included appearances by Blue Sapphire PJ Maierhofer and newly-named Blue Band Drum Major Ian Kenney. An excellent day overall.
