Wrestlers Eye Second Straight Big Ten Championship

The Nittany Lion wrestlers are headed into the Big Ten tournament this weekend in West Lafayette, Ind. hoping to repeat as champions. Who knew that a wrestling mat covered with baby powder could provide so much relief for dancers? Five times throughout THON weekend, dancers will have the opportunity to dive onto the mat and receive a full-body rub down courtesy of the OPPerations Committee. Check out more after the jump!

Senior Pals Set To Dance For 46

Steve Leotta and Anthony Smith have been friends since they first met during their two years at Penn State Altoona. The two seniors have lived together for the past three years while being heavily involved in THON. This year, for the first time, they are both committed to 46 hours on the dance floor. Campus Gyms Leave Much to be Desired

There are roughly 44,000 students on this campus and we have two legitimate gyms to pick from: Rec Hall and the White Building. Rec Hall’s maximum occupancy is 240, the White Building is 210. Essentially if for every 100 people at Penn State, one goes to the gym at a certain time, both facilities would be at capacity at that time. That just isn’t enough space.
