NCAA Football Sanctions Aren’t Justified

The argument that the Penn State football team needs to be sanctioned by the NCAA to eliminate a dangerous football culture has been repeated over and over again since the Freeh report was released last week. But that culture wasn't the issue that led to Sandusky's continued child sexual abuse. University To Renovate Lasch Building Showers

Penn State has officially announced that they intend to renovate the Lasch building showers and locker rooms as soon as possible. Four-Team Playoff Coming to College Football

A selection committee will decide which four teams advance to the playoff, with the two semi-finals games being held at current bowl locations.

BOT Adds Four Student Government Seats

The Board of Trustees has officially invited representatives from the three major Penn State student governments to sit in on private committee meetings that are held the day prior to the general public board meetings. Four seats will be available for the three presidents of the University Park Undergraduate Association (UPUA), the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments (CCSG), and the Graduate Student Association (GSA), with the fourth seat rotating each year between UPUA and CCSG.
