Barber is dancing all by herself in her dorm room, but support from the THON community is keeping her spirits up.

"When I found out, I was super excited. I'm always drowning in my work, but it lifted my spirits so much and made my day so much happier. I got so giddy."

The senior Blue Band member is dancing for his organization, Ohana, to fulfill a position once held by loved ones.

"Just because everything is different this year, doesn't mean that THON stops, doesn't mean that cancer stops -- we still have to do this."

Elise Wolfs is taking THON from home to a whole new level by dancing in her native Netherlands.

"I just really want to soak it all in and enjoy every moment because this really is my last student THON. I just want to make the most of every second."
