
Did you know that, in addition to being accepted through an application process, a number of UPAC members are elected during the UPUA election season? Yeah, prior to last month, neither did I. And neither, it would seem, did many of the other 39,999 students at University Park.

Don't be surprised if you see a large group of young men walking around campus in high heels on April 29th. Penn State's Men Against Violence will be hosting "Walk a Mile in her Shoes" in conjunction with IFC, athletics, faculty, and staff two weeks from now as part of an awareness campaign against sexual assault and all violence against women. The event is set to take place at noon and will begin at Boucke building.

After serving as the Student Trustee on the Board of Trustees for nearly three years, graduate student Rodney Hughes is nearing the end of his term on the Board, and the process of selecting his successor is well underway. What goes into selecting a student to fill this role?

The Blue & White Film Festival (previously known as the Student Film Fest) is back for another year and the Student Film Organization (SFO) is currently taking submissions.
The actual festival will go down at 7 p.m. on April 28th in The State Theatre at $7 a ticket and SFO member Andrew Karasik said the club is prepared for a wide variety of submissions.

This past week, on-campus residents accumulated empty recyclable goods in the hopes that they would prove to be the most eco-friendly hall in all of University Park.
