
This Tuesday, Victoria’s Secret will make a stop right here at PSU as part of their 10th College Campus Tour. Considered the leading loungewear retailer by women and the leading “loungewear” retailer by men, Victoria’s Secret will be selling items specifically from the Penn State PINK Collegiate Collection. You may have seen the newly-created Statetoberfest holiday was canceled almost as soon as it was created. The Penn State take on the German Oktoberfest was created by sophomore "Mark Andrew" (his Facebook name) when he realized there wasn’t a holiday to excuse excessive drinking and school pride (besides home football games, homecoming, Halloween, or weekends). The Facebook event quickly caught on and soon more than 5,000 were attending.

Tonight, at 7:30 p.m., the State College Borough Council will hold a meeting to vote on introducing a non-voting student representative seat on the Council.

You're being charged, along with your tuition, an Information Technology Fee of $236 per semester (up from $230 last year). Similar to the Facilities Fee and Student Activity Fee, it's not exactly tuition, but it comes out of your pocket if you are a Penn State student.
There's been a movement in the works, involving the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments and University Park Undergraduate Association, to develop an official mechanism for student feedback for this fee.
