
The Penn State Women's Volleyball team got back to their winning ways this weekend, defeating #10 Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Two Penn State basketball players, Tim Frazier (men's) and Alex Bentley (women's), were named as candidates for the 2012-2013 Senior CLASS Award, which honors NCAA Division-I athletes that have stayed in school for their senior year and have exhibited excellence in the following areas: community, classroom, character, and competition.

The Penn State wrestling team is in search of its third straight national championship this season. Tonight will be its annual intrasquad dual at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall, which is free and open to the public. The first regular season dual will take place on November 16th against Lehigh University at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall.

The top seeded Penn State women's soccer team advanced to the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament after defeating eighth-seeded Iowa 2-0. The two teams had previously met in Iowa earlier this season, where Penn State won 2-1.

With the team's opening scrimmage against Philadelphia University just five days away, Penn State basketball single-game tickets are on sale to the public. The program also announced a slew of awesome promotions catered toward a boost in student support for the Nittany Lions -- a team that is on the rise in the second year under Pat Chambers.
