Basketball Captain Billy Oliver to End Playing Career

Billy Oliver has confirmed that he will no longer continue his basketball career at Penn State due to ongoing concussion symptoms. He will, however, stay at the university and continue to be around the program.

PSU Softball Season Begins at LSU

The Penn State softball team will kick off its 2012 season down south as they compete in the Tiger Classic on the campus of Louisiana State University. They’ll face host team no. 22 LSU on Friday at 7 p.m. before facing Louisiana Tech on Saturday and Michigan on Sunday.

The Penn State women's basketball team won its third game in a row against Wisconsin on Thursday night, 69-54. Maggie Lucas led the Lady Lions in the victory with 16 points on 7-of-11 shooting. Next up for Penn State is a trip to Evanston, Ill., to take on Northwestern on Sunday.

It has not been a fun twenty days for the Penn State basketball squad. Last night in East Lansing, Penn State (10-15, 2-10) lost their fifth straight game, falling to Michigan State 77-57.

Men’s Volleyball Gets Off To A Hot Start

The fifth-ranked Penn State men’s volleyball team got off to a hot start as they kicked off their home schedule this weekend in a four-team tournament at Rec Hall. The Lions played host to Mount Olive College, Cal-Baptist U, and #9 Ohio State.
