The time has come for our local government to actually represent the makeup of the community it claims to serve. It is time for a change. While each candidate brings his own valuable experiences to the table, we believe Black's diverse involvement in the Centre region and his desire to challenge the status quo in the Borough make him the best candidate to become the next mayor of State College.

The week of events will end at Penn State's home game against Rutgers on Veterans Day, which active duty servicemen and veterans can get free tickets for.
