BlueWhite TV and the Nittany Valley Society are commemorating The Phyrst's 50th anniversary with a documentary.
The pharmacy will be open through through July 15, though its closing creates endless possibilities for the site the building, which is managed by ARPM, is located on.
Pennsylvania's Department of Health announced the 27 businesses, accounting for 52 locations, that will have dispensary permits allowing them to sell medical marijuana products. State College's PA Health and Wellness LLC was listed as Centre County's dispensary.
"It is with heavy heart that we bring news that the bottle shop will be permanently closed."
Managers aren't sure how long the application process could take, but they hope to start selling wine and beer as soon as possible if the application is approved.
