
Frank Aritz Jr. of State College was found guilty for riding his bicycle in downtown State College with a .162 BAC level. Aritz was spotted by police riding his bike without a headlamp on East Beaver Ave. and on the South Allen St. bike route, per the CDT.
According to prosecutors, Aritz's reaction when he was pulled over was, "It's a fucking bike!"

If you thought it was time to put away the winter coats and break out the sun dresses, think again.
State College is expected to receive four to eight inches of snow accumulation throughout the day before changing to rain and ice, according to Accuweather.

It's a day of big restaurant announcements in State College -- first Quaker Steak & Lube and now IHOP set to open in the State College area. The popular breakfast restaurant will open at the old Perkins location at 1661 S. Atherton St. where a sign saying "Coming Soon" designed like the IHOP logo has been for the last few months.

Wing fans in State College will soon have another option, as popular casual dining restaurant Quaker Steak & Lube is set to return to State College at the location of the former Cinema 6 Theatre near the Nittany Mall.

I don't know whether to be impressed or disgusted, but this one takes some effort.
As first reported by The Daily Collegian (no link because the story didn't run online) and then called out by The School Philly, a Penn State student was cited by police three separate times for three different incidents on State Patty's Day this year all in a matter of about five hours.
