
Penn State's Student Programming Association recently announced that two acclaimed filmmakers will be venturing to speak at Penn State in March.
Morgan Spurlock, who directed and starred in the acclaimed documentary "Super Size Me," will speak Monday, March 19 in Schwab Auditorium at 8 p.m. Additionally, John Fox, writer and director of Academy Award-nominated documentary GasLand will speak on March 14 at 8 p.m. in Alumni Hall at the HUB. Both events are free.

Last night, SPA and the Lion Ambassadors provided Penn State students with some Founder's Day entertainment as Parachute and fun. played in front a large crowd at Alumni Hall.

How far would you walk to see Vanessa Cartlon in concert? Luckily, most students wont need to walk too far next month, as SPA announced that she would be performing at Penn State as part of a concert series that also includes the band Yellowcard.

EDM superstar Sebastian Ingrosso, one-third of supergroup Swedish House Mafia, performed at the Bryce Jordan Center last night along with openers Alesso, a rising star in the genre, and David Solano, a regular Dayglow DJ. It was no surprise to see Solano, as the event, named State of Emergency, was hosted by Dayglow's parent company, Committee Entertainment.

After weeks of anticipation, Movin' On announced most of its line-up for this spring's music festival on Wednesday in the HUB-Robeson Center. There will be a fifth headliner as well at least one local band which will be chosen after the Battle of the Bands which is slated for March 31st.
