For the past four years, Penn State entered a season with the luxury of having a stud defensive tackle. There was future first-round pick Jared Odrick in 2009, Devon Still in 2010 and 2011, and Jordan Hill last year. Now, that is no longer the case as the Nittany Lions look to reload along the defensive line in 2013.
Penn State Wrestling won its third consecutive national championship tonight under Cael Sanderson, and Quentin Wright and Ed Ruth both took home individual titles.
With five wrestlers in tonight’s NCAA Championships, Penn State aims for its third consecutive national title. Currently clinging to a 5-point lead over second place Oklahoma State (114.5-109.5), it will be up to Nico Megaludis, David Taylor, Matt Brown, Ed Ruth, and Quentin Wright to keep the Nittany Lions in first place.
