March is a long way off, and you're liable to forget about getting tickets to the Lady Gaga concert in that long space of time. But luckily for you, tickets go on sale Friday (or Thursday if you're a student), so you can get them while the date is fresh in your mind.

Jordan Hill and Sam Ficken Win Conference Honors

After several individual weekly awards throughout the year, it is fitting that Penn State had two players take home conference honors following the season finale. Senior defensive tackle Jordan Hill was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after a monster game while kicker Sam Ficken won Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week after making the game-winning field goal against Wisconsin.

Nookie Monster is Crashing a Class Near You

Today, the Nookie Monster, as part of a @SCSpikes promotion, will be "crashing" classes and giving out candy. If you're lucky enough to be graced with Nookie's presence, you will have an opportunity to enter a contest via information on the candy wrapper. You can't beat this. Then, students will be directed to post or tweet "I LIKE IKE" on Facebook or @SCSpikes for the opportunity to spend a "Day with Ike the Spike!"

Electric State Returns to Indigo

On Wednesday, PRSSA is hosting their semi-annual Electric State: Battle of the DJs at Indigo. Four DJs will battle it out for a chance to spin in between Go Go Gadjet's sets that night.

Women’s Volleyball Named #1 Overall Seed in NCAA Tournament

The dominance continues for Penn State Women's Volleyball. Yesterday, Russ Rose's team was named the #1 overall seed of this year's NCAA tournament. The Nittany Lions (29-2), who've won the National Championship four of the five years, have been placed in the West Lafayette regional and open up against Binghamton (13-17) on 7:30 p.m. this Friday in Rec Hall.

Penn State Weekend Sports Roundup

Penn State's sports did well this weekend. Women's Soccer advanced to the College Cup, while Women's Volleyball earned the number one seed in the NCAA Tournament. The Men's Basketball team, without Tim Frazier, beat a previously undefeated Bucknell team.
