Levels Gets Political With Barack Obama Night

In a first of it's kind event in State College, tonight, Levels Nightclub has decided to host a "Students for Barack Obama" night. While the event is not an official Obama for America campaign event, but rather the "Students for Barack Obama," the purpose of such events is simple; Reengage the student-age voters who were successfully mobilized during Barack Obama's 2008 presidential run.

The Ready Set to Headline SPA Block Party

The Penn State Student Programming Association will kick off the new school year with their second annual Nittany Block Party next week with special guest, The Ready Set. The show will take place next Friday, September 7, at 5:30 p.m. on Pollock Road in front of the HUB. There will also be performances from various student groups and organizations, as well as food and other activities.

A Capella Group Sheds “JoePas” Moniker

The all-male a cappella group formerly known as “The JoePas” joined organizations such as NittanyVille, Nike, and Penn State itself in their cutting of ties with the condemned former coach, formally announcing a name change to “The Statesmen” on August 24th. Bill O’Brien, Gerald Hodges, and Jordan Hill Ready to Lead
