State College feels like it's our own safe little bubble. There's a reason that we're comfortable gallivanting around downtown at 2 a.m. while moderately inebriated. Even females, scantily clad as they're often seen to be, seem content stumbling home alone for several blocks. But maybe they shouldn't be. Since the beginning of the semester, less than two months ago, eleven sexual assaults have been reported to the State College Police Department.

This coming Saturday marks the most anticipated contest to date in a new era of Penn State Football as the Nittany Lions take on the undefeated No. 9 Ohio State Buckeyes. The annual Rally in the Valley will take place tonight in Rec Hall at 6:30, featuring Pat Chambers, Bill O'Brien, Penn State cheerleaders and the Blue Band in order to get excited for the Ohio State game and White Out tomorrow.
