This afternoon, the Penn State IFC-Panhellenic Dance Marathon, known to all as THON, released its summary of fundraising efforts for the 2010 fiscal year. Check out the numbers after the jump.

Interfraternity Council President Max Wendkos sent out a statement Sunday evening summarizing his views on THON's removal of its official name from canning materials, a story we reported Thursday evening.

Last week, THON announced that it would be updating its canning materials to make them more immediately recognizable to the general public.
What THON didn't announce at the time was that it also removed the organization's official name from canning materials.

Starting today, five percent of the ticket sales for the Penn State vs. Indiana football game, up to $150,000, will be donated to THON 2011 by the Washington Redskins.

This Friday, THON organizations Atlas, Ohana, and Springfield will unite to kick off the fundraising season for the 2011 IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon with an arm wrestling tournament.

In an effort to appease the recent debates about the internal decision making process that is taken by the 15 members of the Penn State Dance Marathon's Overall Committee, Interfraternity Council President Max Wendkos invited student leaders within THON to meet for a discussion forum last night.
The meeting lasted over two hours and brought together THON leadership and organization presidents to discuss recent decisions made by the overall committee and how they will affect organizations participating in the event.
