After two years and millions in renovations, Shaver's Creek is open to the public once again.
The program is endorsed at the state, local, and federal levels. It's also the active-attacker response program at the majority of Big Ten schools.
Following the $7.5 million expansion that started in 2016, Shaver's Creek will re-open on Labor Day weekend.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
The new additions are intended to make the LionPATH's Student Center more user-friendly.
"If we are to retain folks in the state, we need to provide the basic protections for them to live and work."
