Resolution to Re-Investigate Freeh Report Fails After Heated Meeting

After what can only be described as a complete shitshow of a meeting in the Nittany Lion Inn, the Board of Trustees voted 17-9 to deny a Al Lord's resolution that would have appointed a committee to re-investigate the Freeh Report.

Homeland Security Chief of Staff Christian Marrone to Speak at Penn State

Christian Marrone, who played for Joe Paterno and now serves as the Chief of Staff for the Department of Homeland Security, will speak at the IST Building on Wednesday. Marrone, who holds a degree in Political Science from Penn State, has held numerous posts within the government and in the private sector. Before jumping to the Department of Homeland Security, Marrone was the Vice President for National Security and Acquisition Policy at the Aerospace Industries Association.

Tom Wolf to Visit Penn State on Wednesday

Tom Wolf, the frontrunner in the Pennsylvania gubernatorial race, will visit Penn State for the first time this Wednesday. Wolf will appear at the Berkey Creamery at 10 a.m. to meet with students and State College-area residents.
