
State Sen. John Yudichak, a Democrat representing Luzerne, Carbon and Monroe counties, and Senate Appropriations Committee Chair Jake Corman, a Republican representing Centre county, will host a news conference addressing the need for governance reform of the Penn State Board of Trustees.

A trailer for a film about Betsy Aardsma, the student murdered in the stacks of Pattee Library, was released. The State Theatre will screen the film on January 19 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for senior citizens and students.
