
After a relaxing Thanksgiving break, Penn State's student leaders reunited in 302 HUB this Wednesday to take care of business. The agenda was fairly light this week, and the UPUA only had to discuss Academic Rights booklets and the swearing in of Bobby Walter as S-Book director.

It's that time of year again, the time where the Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management majors serve up some delicious food via their creative theme dinners. Last nights dinner, titled Spirited Food, aimed to create "beer, wine, and spirit infused cuisine." Not ones to pass up on a good meal (especially one with alcohol in the title) myself as well as staff writer Steve Boyle and newly poached Black Sheep writer Noel Purcell, took it upon ourselves to treat ourselves while serving up our own review.

Chi Phi regained admission to the IFC about a year ago after alumni spent five years running a successful fundraising campaign. The house underwent a $1.4 million renovation, and now it's one of the most badass frat houses in all the land. Check it out.

The Penn State Interfraternity Council welcomed Alpha Delta Phi as Penn State's 50th IFC-recognized fraternity following a vote at last night's President's Council meeting.

A new UPUA roundtable will meet weekly to discuss sexual violence protection, according to a UPUA press release. The decision to start the roundtable discussion comes during a rough semester for Penn State, where 17 sexual assaults have been reported to the police in the last four months.
