Sadly, this semester will be my last at Penn State, and, like many seniors, I waited until the last moment to complete my last GHA (General Health and Activity) credits. I decided to take something a little unorthodox: Snowboarding.

TEDxPSU 2013 To Be Held on Sunday

TEDxPSU was brought to Penn State three years ago to bring together individuals in our community who have ideas worth sharing. The conference aims to offer researchers and innovators at Penn State the opportunity to broadcast the impact of their unique projects, activities, and perspectives.

Student-Run Farm A Possibility At Penn State

When you made your first drive to Penn State you probably noticed that every other building you passed was a farm. Central Pennsylvania is has a rich agriculture history, and some students at Penn State want to keep that tradition alive right here on campus. Several interested students,l ead by Rachel Hoh (a Community, Environment, and Development major) gathered last night to talk about creating a student-run farm: feasibility issues, funding, and community outreach were just a few of the topics discussed.

Kines 5K to be Held on Sunday

Penn State's Kinesiology Club is hosting their 13th annual 5K Challenge at 10:00 a.m. this Sunday, March 17 starting in front of the Business Building Lawn. Registration is $15 and you can turn in your form and money on race day from 8:30-9:30 a.m. or to the Kines Department in 270 Rec Hall. The first 150 people who register are eligible for a free T-shirt.
