
December is all about the 25 days of Christmas whether you watch Elf a million times on ABC Family or Ellen DeGeneres’ Holiday Themed 12 days of Giving. While you’re pulling a George Washington and chopping down a tree, some people are lightening Menorahs. The Jewish Holiday began Saturday at sunset and lasts till December 16th. Even if you’re not Jewish but want to surprise your friends, here are eight things that are crucial when preparing for the festivities that take place during Hannukkah.

The Diversity Awareness Task Force was formed, holding its first meeting last night, with about 30 students in attendance. The meeting was mostly organizational as the task force wanted to establish the essentials of the diversity issue at Penn State, the best ways to tackle those problems, and what committee breakdowns would be best fitted to handle them.

The University Park Undergraduate Association announced on Twitter earlier today: "The Student Activity Fee Board is meeting today at 3:30 in 111 HUB to consider allocating $20,000 of UP students' fee to CCSG."

Penn State student Alexis Gray was arrested last month on Elon University's campus after being found in possession with a Remington-597.22 caliber rifle, a knife, and 6.5 feet of rope according to the Elon Local News.
