After dancing 46 hours this February, Andrea Mateer realized how many toys and gifts she had received that she never had the chance to open. Mateer decided to begin a toy drive for children at Hershey Medical Center by reaching out to other dancers to collect all these leftover toys.

THON 2017 is more than 48 weeks away, but the fundraising is truly a year-round effort. No one event exemplifies that fact than the annual Hope Gala, which raised $201,017 for THON and the Four Diamonds Fund on Saturday evening in New York City.

Sophomore and Alpha Chi Omega sister Victoria Veneziano was shocked when she heard her named announced as the recipient of one of THON's biggest raffle prizes: a trip to Europe. The trip will take her to London, Paris, and Rome and includes guided tours and airfare.

"Bring THON out into the world. Realize you have the power to find a community working towards a common good. Realize you have the power to create a community working towards a common good," Devon Werkeiser writes in a message to THON volunteers.

THON dancers' support systems got creative in ensuring their loved ones finished out their final hours in the BJC strong.
