A grand total of ten student-athletes are dancing in this year's THON, representing six different varsity sports.
When Bret Pontillo finished his first THON last year, he wondered if there was a better way to get involved. Pontillo wanted to be a part of something big, but strove for something of his own. So he did what anyone would do in that situation, he sought help.

A lot of aspects of THON 2013 could be considered a logistical nightmare, and although, THON 2014 hasn't been entirely glitch free, the Executive Committee has come up with multiple ways to maintain order while assuring that the dancers health and safety are a top priority. Just this year, the Rules and Regulations committee launched the Dancer Support Program.
THON's worst kept secret is that Rules and Regulations is almost everybody's least favorite committee. I've earned my right to say that, because I served my time on an R&R committee last year. It's currently early hours in the BJC and we're at full capacity. These are the perfect conditions for mutiny against Rules and Regs.
