By the end of this coming weekend, you’ll have laughed thousands of times with your friends, danced hundreds of times to the best mix of music, and cried a few too many times from deliria and listening to heart-breaking cancer stories. Before you get to all of that, though, you should take a look at what to do and not do.

As is tradition, last night THON dancers and their moralers filled the Multi-sport Complex for some friendly competition, starting off the festivities as THON 2014 quickly approaches.

THON is only 8 days away, so here are three more stories of Penn State students who are dancing in THON this year.

Last year we gave you a beginner's guide to THON 2013, complete with the people, places, and terms you need to know to make it through your first THON weekend. We decided to help out all the newbs again by giving you a refreshed and updated list of how to make your first THON experience the best it can be. Here is your unofficial beginner’s guide to THON weekend.

THON is only 14 days away, but you probably already know that. Other than the natural inclination to check your calendar three times a day, there are plenty of signs all around campus that the big weekend is almost here.

With THON just 11 days away, quite a few YouTube videos focused on Penn State's 46-hour dance marathon have been published. Although not released by an official THON account, we decided to share this one titled "THON 2014 - Redefined," published by YouTube user m2387, because it's incredibly well done. This user has been making awesome THON videos for years, all of which have thousands of views on his channel. So check out this most recent video, set to Avicii's "Hey Brother," and get excited to stand for 46.
