Vandals Write ‘Tear It Down’ On Kappa Delta Rho House

On Wednesday afternoon, a "No Trespassing" sign could be seen sticking out of Kappa Delta Rho's lawn. One day later, it appears that vandals did just that, spray-painting the words "Tear It Down" on a brick wall in front of the house. It's not clear who wrote the message on the fraternity house, but it was quickly covered by a wooden board and some red cloth.

Trustees Approve 3.89 Percent Room and Board Increase

The Penn State Board of Trustees committee on finance, business and capital planning tentatively approved an increase to the university’s room and board costs on Thursday. If the full board also approves the proposal on Friday, the average cost of room and board will increase by 3.89 percent.

IFC Statement Supports Possible Benefit Of Re-evaluating The Greek Community

Interfraternity Council President Rick Groves released a statement in response to those made by President Eric Barron last night and "questions surrounding [the IFC's] suggestion that students refrain from the media," he told Onward State. In the statement, Groves clarified that any suggestions to members to refrain from talking to the media were "in the hopes of reducing the dissemination of misinformation- not to stifle what is undeniably an important issue."

Alumni Survey Results Released at Outreach Meeting, 19% Trust the Board of Trustees

The new Penn State alumni survey results are out, and they once again paint a positive picture for Penn State the institution but a continued reputational mess for its leadership. The numbers, presented by representatives from survey firm Strategy One, were discussed at today's Board of Trustees committee meeting on Outreach, Development, and Community Relations in Hershey.
