How to Break Up with Your Professors: A Love Letter

With the end of the late drop period upon us tonight at midnight, the time has come to answer the questions that have probably been nagging us since syllabus week. Should I just wave the white flag and retake MATH 140 next semester? Is a C in Creative Writing really worth the GPA damage for some GA credits?
If you have found yourself at the point of no return with a class, why not go out with a bang? Why let yourself quietly fade into obscurity when you can leave your professor something to remember you by? We at Onward State are here to help make sure your professor's memory of you outlasts your time in their class and provide three solid options for how you can late drop with style.

Playing in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off Tournament last night, Penn State Men's Basketball fell to No. 6 North Carolina State 72-55. The Boston College Women's Soccer team is already in town for tomorrow's 7:30 p.m. match against Penn State at Jeffrey Field, and one of their players is -- to put it lightly -- "talking some trash." Hailing from Winchester, Massachusetts, sophomore forward Stephanie McCaffrey (daughter of Daughter of Jim and Gina McCaffrey) took to Twitter earlier this afternoon to voice her displeasure with having to play at Penn State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Bars Will Stay Open on State Patty’s Day

Student Body President Courtney Lennartz announced in her comments for the good of the order at last night's meeting that she met with the Tavern Association earlier this week, and that downtown bars will NOT close on State Patty's Day this year despite her request.

Lennartz cited the fact that downtown bars lost over $100,000 on State Patty's Day last year by not opening. Were they really surprised?

Football Season Isn’t Over, Why Are You Leaving?

If you are not planning on attending Penn State's last two home games of the season, you should reconsider. Supporting this team is something you can be proud of for the rest of your life. The decision to have one more serving of pie is not.
