Brad Bars Out for 2013 Football Season

Defensive end Brad Bars ruptured his achilles tendon earlier this week during a workout, which will cause him to miss the entire 2013 football season, the program announced Thursday afternoon through a press release. Bars' rehabilitation is expected to take 4-6 months, according to the team's physician, Dr. Peter Seidenberg. Bars will be operated on by the team's orthopedic physician, Dr. Scott Lynch, within the coming days.
