Sandra Fluke, known for her congressional testimony on birth control, followed by controversial statements from Rush Limbaugh, will be speaking for free at Penn State next Tuesday.
Three former Nittany Lion defensive players came away pleased with their Pro Day performance yesterday at Holuba Hall. For Gerald Hodges and Jordan Hill, both were happy to return to the familiar confines of State College after being in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine. Stephon Morris was not invited to the Combine but made the most of his Pro Day workout with a blazing 40-time.

And just as quickly as Aaron Dillen burst onto the UPUA scene, he was gone.
Late last night, Dillen announced that he and his running mate Elias Machina had mutually agreed to drop out of the UPUA presidential race, essentially clinching a victory for the now-unopposed Katelyn Mullen.
"Do you see the Freeh report differently now than you did at the time?"
"Oh yes, very much so."
Those words came from Emmy-winning journalist Bob Costas last week in a radio interview with Kevin Slaten of KQQZ in St. Louis. Costas spoke at length to Slaten about his evolving opinion of the Freeh report, Joe Paterno's legacy, and the Penn State situation as a whole in what is some of the most balanced rhetoric I've heard from a national media source about the Sandusky scandal.
All of us have that "30-second elevator speech" prepared and ready to go whenever we meet a new person and are faced with the question, "So, what are you majoring in?" I dread that question, and I know I am not alone. My major is awesome, but complicated. Although I sometimes wonder whether or not I should take the time to try and explain, I know it's oh so worth it.
