The 6-8 inches of snow that fell on State College last night came as bad news to local drivers, but at least one business in town isn't complaining. The Tussey Mountain ski slopes announced that it would open today at 9 a.m. for the winter season.

It's not often that Penn State basketball goes out and absolutely dominates an opponent -- especially in those pesky winter break out of conference games. But that's exactly what the Nittany Lions did Sunday morning, routing New Hampshire 72-45, rewarding the diehard fans who skipped church with free Big Macs.
The number of Penn State seniors playing in postseason contests increased from one to three today as quarterback Matt McGloin and fullback Michael Zordich both accepted invitations to play in All-Star games.
