One of Penn State's recently prominent graduates is moving on from a highly coveted journalism job as the AP's chief White House correspondent, according to a release yesterday.
Ben Feller, a 1992 Penn State graduate in journalism, has previously worked for The Centre Daily Times. He joined the White House beat in 2006, covering all aspects of the Bush presidency, and was named as AP's Chief Correspondent in 2010.

After several individual weekly awards throughout the year, it is fitting that Penn State had two players take home conference honors following the season finale. Senior defensive tackle Jordan Hill was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week after a monster game while kicker Sam Ficken won Big Ten Special Teams Player of the Week after making the game-winning field goal against Wisconsin.
Last November, a grand jury presentment outlining criminal allegations against Jerry Sandusky prompted Penn State’s Board of Trustees to commission an internal investigation to understand the circumstances of the Commonwealth’s case against Sandusky and the university’s response to information it may have had about Sandusky. Former Penn State Board of Trustees member Rodney Hughes was on the task force to commission Judge Freeh, and has some reflections on the document that has changed Penn State forever.
Today, the Nookie Monster, as part of a @SCSpikes promotion, will be "crashing" classes and giving out candy.
