
This week's competition is between the two most well-known outdoor patio bars in State College: Cafe 210 West and Mad Mex. Let's be honest, when it's 75 degrees and sunny outside, there are few things better than (legally) drinking outside. The two downtown establishments with the largest outdoor seating areas are Cafe 210 West and Mad Mex. Both of these places have large patios which are perfect for soaking in the sun and downing a few choice beverages. Let the battle begin.

Today marks day 37 of the 55 days competition at Café 210 West. Over 700 students set out to conquer the '55 days' this year but after five weeks - that number has dropped significantly. Check out more after the jump!

It was a few nervous days for the Penn State Women's Basketball program. Everyone can now exhale. After receiving permission from acting athletic director David Joyner to interview for the Michigan job last week, head coach Coquese Washington made it official at a 3 p.m. press conference that she will remain with the Lady Lion program.

The day after Dayglow's first concert in State College, I saw a girl in class the next morning who still had the neon paint on her shoes. I asked her how she liked the event. “It was fun,” she replied, “if you wanted to get raped.” She was a little too serious, but we both laughed. Greeks are always babbling on about how awesome it is to be affiliated no matter what time of year it is, but this week is Greek Week here in Happy Valley, which means you're going to be seeing even more letters than usual. But that's not the only tell-tale sign.

It was a good weekend for the Penn State baseball team. After an underwhelming performance in game one on Friday night, Penn State came back strong to win the final two games of their three game series against Michigan this weekend.
