70 Years of Dominating Temple

In two days, our Nittany Lions will travel to Philly to take on the Temple Owls. Yes, we enter as only an eight-point favorite, and yes this Temple team is better than those that came before them (although that isn't saying much). But this is Temple. We have dominated them for seven decades now and I don't see that changing much on Saturday afternoon.

Doppelheuer Resigns Committee Chairmanship

Facilities Committee Chair Tyler Doppelheuer shocked most of the members of UPUA last night when he announced his resignation from the assembly.

After giving his committee report, Doppelheuer remained standing to inform everyone of his decision to resign, saying he could not make the Wednesday night meetings this semester. He added, however, that this is not the end of his involvement with UPUA altogether.

Furthur Comes to Penn State

Jerry Garcia might not be around anymore, but the legacy he's left extends far beyond a particularly delicious flavor of Ben and Jerry's ice cream. With the Career Fair next Tuesday through Thursday at the Bryce Jordan Center, it's time to focus on what needs to be done to make sure you get that internship, co-op or full-time job you want.
For some people, the thought of pitching yourself to a recruiter in only a few minutes can be a pretty intimidating thing. However, you don't need to be the president of everything and have a 4.0 in the honors college to get you "dream job". By following these few pieces of simple commonsense advice, you have a better chance of getting that job you want with the company you want.
