The Night America Won

Everyone wants to be a part of history. On May 1, 2011 (a little more than nine and a half years after the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center attacks), almost 6,000 Penn State students got that chance. Despite all of the talk and poor weather, Penn Staters didn’t disappoint. In fact, they showed up in droves as the night went on and the music got people moving.

Costumed characters crowd surfed down the street, students shot off fireworks, papers were thrown from balconies, and even a small fire was started in Beaver Canyon. We've collected a set of pictures and videos from the night. Check them out.
