
Penn State advanced to the Sweet 16 for the 10th straight year by beating Binghamton and Bowling Green over the weekend.

Since the recent additions of Maryland and Rutgers to the Big Ten have been met with criticism, we took it upon ourselves to pick the next 10 schools that should should be invited.

Penn State increased their home winning streak to 20 games, as they quickly disposed of the Illini on Thursday, three sets to none. Deja McClendon had 11 kills to lead the team, and Katie Slay had 5 blocks. Freshman Kendall Pierce had two aces, and deserves a special shoutout for holding serve for a 14-point run in the third set.

The Penn State Women's Volleyball team got back to their winning ways this weekend, defeating #10 Minnesota and Wisconsin.

While some high profile programs including football and volleyball suffered tough losses, several other sports teams were in action this past weekend including soccer, field hockey, ice hockey, and cross country. Here is a recap of how each team fared.
