Holy Moses!

For The pasT week, The Penn STaTe campus has been divided on The mosT conTroversial issue in recenT memory. HealThcare? Obama? Balloon boy? No, commenTs have been flying back and forTh concerning This year’s WhiTe ouT shirTs, sponsored by The Daily Collegian. So who sTarTed This conTroversy? Obviously some anTi-Collegian cabal, righT?

No, The Collegian iTself posTed an arTicle describing The conTroversy, and even going so far as To poinT ouT ThaT The shirT’s creaTor is a Jewish sTudies minor. Since Then, leTTers have poured in To The Collegian, wiTh commenTs ranging from a lack of homework causing This, To crosses needing To remain aT NoTre Dame.

The whole siTuaTion is ridiculous, and anyone who’s complaining abouT The shirTs needs To Take The big cross ouT of Their…well you geT The picTure.  I Think iT’s Time ThaT we move Onward. State.

six people out of a few thousand isn’t a controversy

Good point. The only people who think the shirts are dumb are those who sent complaints.

haha well done…thoroughly enjoyed reading this!

the only thing that i think is even remotely worth talking about in regards to this issue is the collegian’s complete failure to interview any non-jewish and non-christian students for this entire, ridiculous “controversy.” i know penn state isn’t the most diverse campus, but i’m certain i’m neither jewish nor christian, and i was definitely not represented. and if it wasn’t abundantly clear, yes, i think the shirt resembles a cross, but it clearly was not an effort to impose religion on students. i agree with J…6 people is not a controversy.
