Want to Win a Netbook?

notebookIs your laptop slow, broken, or just plain terrible? Well good news to all…Penn State’s ITS is conducting a contest for students to win a free Eee PC 1005HA Netbook worth $299.00!

The contest began on October 19, 2009 and ends December 4, 2009. You can enter the contest via the Internet by going to http://its.psu.edu/takecontrol/.

What exactly do you have to do to win?

Well it seems pretty simple, if you enjoy decoding security phrases and are able to follow directions. In order to do this, you should visit the security steps 1 through 9 listed at left of the Take Control contest page to find the words to complete the Squirrel’s security phrase. The words are listed on the Squirrel’s scroll on each page.

When you manage to find a total of nine words, you must then complete the registration form. You will then automatically be entered into the drawling to win that ever so desired Netbook prize!

A winner will be selected through a random drawing that takes place on December 4, 2009. Judges will award one Asus Eee PC 1.6GHz 1GB 160GB HDD Netbook to the winner on December 7, 2009.

Good luck!!!
