On Monday, July 26, single game Penn State football tickets will be available for purchase. This is a second chance for those who may have missed getting season tickets or for those who may just want to go to a game or two.

After being released by the Washington Redskins in May, former Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark has hopped back on the horse to join the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Penn State's career leader in touchdown passes could not earn a spot on the roster loaded with veteran quarterbacks like Donavon McNabb and Rex Grossman. Instead, Clark will head north to America's hat and team up with Calgary head coach and fellow Penn State alumnus John Hufnagel.

Hip hop singer B.o.B is going to bust out lyrics, spit mad rhymes, and do other things that I don’t know the meaning of at the Bryce Jordan Center at the end of August. He and fellow hip hop virtuoso Travis “Travie” McCoy, lead vocalist of Gym Class Heroes, will perform at the Bryce Jordan Center at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 31. The performance is part of The SHOOTiN for Stars Tour.
B.o.B released his debut album earlier this year on April 27. B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and sold 84,000 copies in the first week. McCoy also released his debut album, Lazarus, this year in June. The single “Billionaire” peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Tickets will go on sale next Friday at 12 p.m. for $35 ($20 if you have a Penn State ID). They are available at the Bryce Jordan Ticket Center, Eisenhower Auditorium, Downtown Theatre, Penn State Altoona campus, or you can order them online or by phone at 814-865-5555.
A new set of Big Ten meetings and Big Ten Media Day are coming up in August, and with the face-lift the conference has undergone over the past couple of months, there is plenty to talk about. The Collegian reported that police are on the scene and that the building has not been evacuated. Minutes ago, Penn State's Facebook page announced that "Police determined package is safe. Area re-opened." More details as they become available.
