According to BlueWhiteIllustrated.com, sources say that Kevin Newsome intends to seek a transfer from Penn State.
With the conclusion of the 2009 season and Darryl Clark's graduation, Newsome was expected to start the 2010 season under center. His mobility and knowledge of the Spread HD system has supposed to give him an edge over fellow carry-over Matt McGloin.
This afternoon, the Penn State IFC-Panhellenic Dance Marathon, known to all as THON, released its summary of fundraising efforts for the 2010 fiscal year. Check out the numbers after the jump.
The University Faculty Senate met yesterday for the third time this year. Among the main topics of discussion were excessive student drinking (I'm sensing a pattern here) and the lovely Student Ratings of Teaching Effectiveness.
Every year the fraternities help make the Highlands district a little brighter, literally. Many of the houses in the neighborhood put up elaborate holiday light displays. The seventh annual Edublog Award winners will be announced next week. The Eddies, or edublogs, were created in 2005 as a response to the restricted access many schools and universities placed on educational blog sites.
This Sunday, Dec. 12, more than 30 area restaurants, wine suppliers, breweries and other establishments will take part in the 13th annual Taste of the Town fundraiser in State College.
The night will feature dinner and live music, as well as wine and spirits, hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction and a live auction.
