I’ve had several people over the last few weeks ask me why this segment is call the “Natty Nittany?” And no, it has nothing to do with Natty Light. Natty is actually defined as “neatly or trimly smart in dress or appearance.” So that’s what I’m looking for in the people I track down on the street. Which brings us to this weeks Natty Nattany!

I spotted Joan walking down Pollock and she immediately popped out of the sea of black and brown over sized jackets and floor length parkas. The matching white jacket and accessories really make this outfit. She works the bight airy look with her light hair and complexion with out washing her out. A lot of people cannot work a white jackets, let alone keep it clean, so kudos to Joan. And the distressed leather boots give a great base to the outfit.

After asking me to look at his portfolio, I got a shot of Matt’s great outfit along with his leather portfolio full of well-composed photographs. I guess with the recent heat wave of 32 degrees he didn’t need a jacket. But the hot red sweater and contrasting dark cool denim makes for a classy outfit, and the brown leather shoes really tie all of this together.
