The Jordan Center announced this morning (using social media of course) that ticket sales for the upcoming visit of the 'I am Music II' featuring the one and only recently incarcerated Lil Wayne, not to mention Monster-diva Nicki Minaj.
Five Penn State women's basketball players scored in double-digits, and the Lady Lions dominated Ohio State on Sunday afternoon, winning 80-71.
The first half remained close until Alex Bentley and Maggie Lucas took over the game. Tied at 15, Lucas hit a 3-pointer that started a 16-5 Penn State run, which also finished with a Lucas 3-pointer. However, with Nikki Greene and Lucas in foul trouble, Ohio State ramped up their defense, and cut into the lead. A Ohio State 3-pointer brought the Buckeyes within four points, forcing a Lady Lion timeout. Bentley hit four free throws down the stretch for a 39-33 halftime lead.

Though the state budget has been postponed until March, student government and politics at Penn State saw a whirlwind couple of days this weekend. On Friday, the Student Activity Fee (SAF) Board met, as did the Council of Commonwealth Student Governments (CCSG) on Friday and Saturday. Also at Council were the student government presidents at Temple, Lincoln, and Pitt, respectively, the second meeting of the Pennsylvania Association of State-Related Students (PASS).

Political satire group The Capitol Steps performed at the State Theatre last night to a slightly older crowd with their musical quips about current hot topics. A group of five comedians took turns changing outfits, accents, and ethnicities during the fast paced show, never skipping a beat on the political pulse.
