Penn State Shines in U.S. News Grad School Rankings

Penn State ranked highly in a number of different areas in the 2012 U.S. News “Best Grad School” rankings, which were released last night. Eighteen different graduate programs finished in the top ten of their respective rankings, and Penn State took the top spot in Higher Education Administration.

Education also featured four other programs finishing in the top ten and finished 26th overall. Other highlights to the list for Penn State include:

#40 in Business, including #5 Supply Chain/Logistics

#25 in Engineering, including #9 Biological/Agricultural, #4 Industrial/Manufacturing, #8 Materials, #5 Nuclear

#9 in Clinical Psychology

#5 in Criminology

#6 in Earth Sciences, including #3 Geology, #3 Geochemistry, #8 Paleontology

#29 in Psychology, including #2 Industrial & Organizational Psychology

#4 in Rehabilitation Counseling

#20 in sociology, including #4 Sociology of Population
